We're unveiling a fresh new interface to help you navigate between your content, comments and tasks.
As part of our upcoming summer release, we're excited to unveil a fresh new look for the Igloo interface. We've kept all of the functionality that you are familiar with, but we've improved the ease of navigation when you're viewing content, particularly within the mobile experience.
The initial focus of this upgrade is the look and feel of the content area, including blogs, calendars, file sharing, forums, wikis and, our newest app, tasks.

Extending the power of the Like button
Since introducing the Like button, we've received many requests on how to extend its functionality. We're working to add custom text for the Like button to the platform as a channel-level setting.
But one request has been heard louder than others, so we made a short term customization that allows you to tell your coworkers how you really feel.
Introducing the Hate button
Add this code to the Advanced tab on your homepage to change all your Likes to Hates!

New Stuff
Like Button
We've added a Like button to make it easier for people to engage and provide feedback in your Igloo. Users will be able to like content across the community, including blogs, forums (and replies), files, wikis, events, microblogs, as well as comments.
Each object will show the number of likes that it has received, and clicking that number will bring up a list of users (similar to followers). Social analytics on the Like button will not be available at launch, but it is…
We're introducing a new Like button for all Igloo customers. Happy Valentine's Day <3
We heard you. And we're introducing a Like button across all of our apps to make it easier for people to engage and provide feedback in your Igloo. Documents, blogs, forums, microblogs, wikis, and calendars will be included.
What's the difference between Like and the 5-star rating system?
The Like button is a simplified rating system. It's a great way to show approval or encouragement, to endorse a new idea, or to acknowledge receipt of a status update, without having to commit to a…
In order to help ensure the security of your community, our member registration form contains a CAPTCHA. This third-party service helps detect whether a user is a human or a 'bot' so that forms are only processed for actual users rather than SPAM software.
Due to a recent update in their software, the distorted text images that reCaptcha was providing were impossible to read and generating error messages that would not allow a user to complete the registration process.
Our development team burned the midnight oil and found a solution! All users should now be able to complete the registration process without any further issues with either CAPTCHA or the "Register" button.

Igloo's got a new way to manage your LDAP syncing! Learn more about how it works and what it means.
We've recently launched our new LDAP sync tool, which will allow your organization to have more accute control over exactly how their Active Directory's information is brought into Igloo.
The new LDAP sync tool is a small program that is installed, configured and run on the AD server, and can be managed entirely by the administrator. This means that the admin can configure exactly which profile fields are synced into Igloo, map different OUs within the AD to groups within Igloo, and schedule…
