Please be aware that IGLOO Inc. has scheduled a maintenance window for Friday July 10, 2009 between the hours of 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM EDT.
To keep our systems running at optimum performance and maintain our uptime standards IGLOO routinely performs maintenance. Our maintenance is typically unnoticed by our customers but certain elements may require interruption to your service. We make every attempt to minimize the impact to our customers by selecting a time that statistically is low in usage.

Read more...On Friday June 26, 2009 all IGLOO powered sites were offline starting at 7:45 PM EDT for approximately 1.5 hours.
The servers that power IGLOO communities are hosted at Fusepoint. On Friday June 26, 2009 Fusepoint experienced technical issues with "the "B" power source" that resulted in our services being offline for a period of approximately 1.5 hours. Fusepoint will be providing a technical bulletin to IGLOO to fully explain the issue, their resolution and recommendations to prevent this failure at their facilities in the future.

Read more...We are passing on a bulletin that we received from Wufoo as some of our customers use this service.
This Saturday, June 27th 2009 at 1:00 am EST, we will be moving the Wufoo servers to a new data center. During this move, Wufoo will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours. Please make appropriate plans for your site during this period.

Our monitoring indicated that there are intermittant issues with DNS. We followed up with Network Solutions, who hosts our domain DNS, and they have a recorded message indicating that they are aware of the issue and are working on it. Network Solutions is one of the biggest leaders with respect to internet domains.
This issue is not specific to IGLOO and you may encounter it when surfing the web in general.

IGLOO is currently experiencing intermittent server issues that result in users receiving errors on page load.
Workaround:
Simply refresh re-fresh your page and it will load correctly.

Read more...On Wednesday March 11, 2009 all IGLOO powered sites were offline.
The servers that power IGLOO communities are hosted at Fusepoint. Fusepoint experienced a power failure and they will be providing a technical bulletin to IGLOO which we will post for you to download. After their power failure ended, there were issues with bringing our service back online. At this point we are still gathering information and will update this blog once we have more details.

Read more...Known Issue: IGLOO Messages to Yahoo and Rogers Email Addresses Being Blocked
On Friday March 6, 2009 we were notified that Yahoo has blocked our system generated emails due to volume of emails sent in the month of February (including invitations). This temporary situation affects all email accounts that contain Yahoo and Rogers domain.
What happens to the emails?
Yahoo is blocking them and they are not being delivered.
What do I need to do?
Nothing, IGLOO will resend all system generated emails (invitations, notifications, messages, etc).
Is there a workaround available for invitations?
You have two choices:
- Send the invitation to an alternate email address and once the new member logs in they can change their email address to their Yahoo or Rogers email account. Details: Login> click on name to access account> click…
Known Issues: Join Now, More Groups, French Accents in Navigation, Folder Inline Renaming
IGLOO preformed an upgrade on Saturday February 28, 2009 around 11:00 PM EST. As a result of those upgrades there are a few technical issues that we are working on.
We consider these high priorities and will be releasing a fix for them today.
- Join registration process
- Form is missing captcha field and therefore not submitting
- This issue will only affect communities using the Join Now feature
- Workaround: Contact users who have requested to Join and invite them to your community
- Workarea folder inline rename not working
- Workaround: You are still able to rename your folder using Action Button> Edit

On Thursday February 19, 2009 for approximately 20 minutes starting around 4:40 PM EST IGLOO powered sites were temporarily offline. The brief outage was identified and addressed immediately. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
