Please be aware that IGLOO Inc. has scheduled a maintenance window for Sunday February 15, 2008 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM EST.
During this time IGLOO will be upgrading our SAN's firmware which will allow IGLOO to utilize new features and updates in the firmware for monitoring as well as performance improvements to the SAN. These features will also allow us to better support our customers and minimize any unscheduled outage. It is highly recommended from our SAN (Storage Area Network) vendor to upgrade to the latest version of firmware.

Please be aware that IGLOO Inc. has scheduled a maintenance window for Wednesday February 11, 2008 11:00 PM to 11:15 PM EST.
During this time we will be testing one of our failover redundancy points to ensure that we are prepared in the event of a hardware failure. For a period of two minutes between 11:00 PM - 11:15 PM EST users MAY experience slow response time or time out error messages.
By planning this testing to occur at a statistically low usage time we hope to minimize any inconvenience to our customers.

On Tuesday January 27, 2009 for approximately 50 minutes starting around 11:40 AM EST IGLOO powered sites were experiencing performance issues.
While the sites were still available they loaded slowly and at times resulted in a time out error. The issue has been resolved and we will post additional details to this blog as we continue our investigation.

We've had some growing pains!
Yesterday around noon, usage of the IGLOO Platform went above previous peak levels, causing a brief hiccup in one of our sub-systems. The IGLOO monitoring systems notified our team we adjusted some of our system resources immediately.

Every Wednesday we have a maintenance window when we do system upgrades, performance improvements and various other things that allow us to improve our offerings. As stated in a previous blog, these generally go un-noticed by our customers however on Wednesday September 10th, 2008 there will be some improvements that require our services to be offline between 8pm and 9pm EST.

Read more...It has been brought to our attention that some IGLOO customers with a public profile, that displays their email address, was contacted by email by l_diorh@yahoo.com subject "Hello dear".
We believe that they are " scraping" public sites that contain public information so we have no way of knowing who they have contacted. IGLOO Inc has contacted the offending spammer by email requesting that they stop contacting IGLOO customers.
