Just a few weeks ago, we launched task management as a part of our summer release. Next up, we’re squashing some bugs.
September 9th, starting at 9:00 pm EST, Igloo will be down for approximately 4 hours to facilitate a release.
Please note that this update will require a maintenance window. During that window, you will receive a message stating that the Igloo service is unavailable.
The Igloo platform experienced a short period of downtime this afternoon due to an unexpected hardware failure. Our Data Centre team responded immediately and performed unscheduled maintenance to fix the issue. All systems are now fully operational and no further downtime is expected.

After August 18, 2014, you will see SSL become a standard setting for all Igloo communities located at an address ending in .igloocommunities.com. You can now test SSL on your Igloo by typing https:// before your community URL in the address bar. This should give you a good indication of any issues that could arise within your community.
While the majority of apps will be fully supported, including all video, rich media and form embeds wrapped in an iframe (e.g. sites like You Tube, Vimeo, Twitter and Facebook), you may find a number of your third-party applications will no longer display correctly under the secure connection, if they are not embedded using SSL. If you do have unsupported apps, Igloo will still serve the insecure content, but you may find that a security warning will appear, or your content may be blocked.…
August 12th, starting at 9:00 pm EST, Igloo will be down for approximately 4 hours to facilitate the next release.
Igloo has scheduled downtime on the evening of Tuesday, August 12, 2014 starting at 9:00 p.m. EST and running until approximately 1:00 a.m. EST.
This downtime is to facilitate an upgrade to our next major release, Unicorn.
The Igloo offices will be closed on Monday, August 4th for the civic holiday.

The Igloo support team will be exercising our civic rights to a civil celebration of our civilization. We'll be back and responding to any non-critical support requests on Tuesday, August 5th as normal.

We've got some planned systems maintenance coming up on June 3rd that will result in intermittent access between 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm, ET.
We'll be doing some planned systems maintenance in two weeks, so you may notice a service interruption in the hours listed below.

The Heartbleed bug does not affect Igloo communities, and your data stored with Igloo is NOT compromised.
For those in the know, let's get straight to the important part: Igloo is not affected by the Heartbleed bug. The version of OpenSSL that Igloo uses is not susceptible to this vulnerability.
If you're not sure what that means, a bug was recently discovered with OpenSSL (a cryptographic software library used by many websites) that has opened up many services to potential data theft, and makes it possible for malicious access to encrypted data.
