While the majority of apps will be fully supported, including all video, rich media and form embeds wrapped in an iframe (e.g. sites like You Tube, Vimeo, Twitter and Facebook), you may find a number of your third-party applications will no longer display correctly under the secure connection, if they are not embedded using SSL. If you do have unsupported apps, Igloo will still serve the insecure content, but you may find that a security warning will appear, or your content may be blocked. (This depends on the browser.)
For example, you may have Ted Talks videos on your Igloo. Ted.com is not SSL enabled, so these videos may create error messages on your browser, if they are embedded in your community. An easy fix for this would be to pull a Ted Talks video from YouTube, which does support SSL, and can still offer the same content.
Google recently announced that it will give preference to more secure websites in its search rankings moving forward, and will highlight pages that have HTTPS encryption by default. This means that your Igloo will be as secure as many of the big banks and (if your community is an extranet) these SSL upgrades may improve the ranking of your organic search results.

Hello, I am a new igloo user and am in the process of setting up our community. I own and operate an Optometric Clinic, employing 8 staff members. My goal is that igloo will serve as a site to "warehouse" all of my staff documents, videos, training resources, office manual, etc.
I only signed up yesterday (9/4/15) and really like what I see so far! I will plan to upgrade from the free trial version, I am sure. Can you please tell me how to upload youtube videos or, is this only available in the paid subscriptions?
