Your Facebook Page is one of the front faces of your organization, and embedding it into your Igloo can improve both traffic and visibility, letting members see new posts, likes, and comments directly from the community. Facebook offers a page plugin that makes it straightforward to create and customize your page in Igloo.
The obvious use case for embedding a Facebook Page in your Igloo is keeping it on your front page, making it easy for everyone to see what's happening there. But it can also be embedded in communications Spaces to let them monitor it directly from Igloo, and reply to comments from their Space. Facebook Pages are public, so you can also embed pages from affiliated organizations, so people can easily be a part of their communities as well.
Facebook offers an iframe embed option, so it can be embedded in any post or html widget in your Igloo, as well as in the Footer if you'd like it to load on every page. In an HTML widget, the Facebook embed is compatible with the tabbed widget view currently available in the free template, saving space while keeping the page available. The Facebook embed's size is fixed, but the widgets you place it in are responsive, and will adjust for mobile devices.
You can embed a Facebook Page by heading to https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin and entering the values for your own page, as well as customizing the other settings. Once it's set up, select the Get Code option, and use the iframe tab to get the code for Igloo. Access the code view from the editor, and paste the code from Facebook there.
