Good news! The December update is now live in your community. This is the last scheduled update before the end of the year, but we wanted to make sure it addressed specific requests from our amazing customers, in addition to the new sign-on and file editing updates that we talked about last week. So what's new you ask?

• Editor enhancements: 
  • Space headers and footers now use the new editor. Community footer and HTML widget are the only remaining places which still use our old editor and we are currently assessing our approach here as many use footers and HTML widgets for more complex purposes than content publishing.
    
    
    
  • We've made further editor optimizations that result in a performance gains when loading pages, resulting in a more efficient and faster page load and using less data when viewing your community on a mobile device. 
  • We have implemented an industry standard for translating custom Froala controls to help ensure a smooth publishing experience for non-English speaking members
• Community styling enhancement: We've added the ability to apply custom classes to widget rows on Pages. This enables the addition of commonly requested custom elements and styling (such as full width banners/slideshows on non-home Pages) not previously possible without a lot of CSS work.
