when you ask for a contact and when you get accepted, each time an email notification is triggered.
unnecessary email, we find.
can you turn that off?
also, a user cannot turn off email notification completely, this should be an option.
thirdly, we think it would be useful to have more control over email notifications, e.g. be able to turn it off for certain functionalities (moderation workflow).
We would prefer to have a notification only within the platform, e.g. red flags at top bar for tasks or messages are fine.
Producing additional email does compromize the fact we promote the intranet as a tool for more efficiency.

Was this ever implemented? We are also wanting to limit these types of emails or disable the Connection Request entirely. Is it possible to disable the connection request entirely?
