When you invite someone to an event through Igloo calendars, they are typically set to be a required attendee. However, that is only the default state; there is a simple way to make them optional attendees.
After inviting an individual, just click on the little person icon beside their name. It will fade to a light blue, and they will be invited as optional.
In the example below, Kayleigh has been invited as an optional attendee, while Ryan and Rick are required.
This will show up in the emailed calendar invitations, giving attendees more information about who will be at a meeting, and whether or not they are obligated to attend.
Optional Attendees are a quick and easy way to add a little extra detail to your event invitations.
