Did you know that you can align, add padding and size up or sizedown your images using the IGLOO editor? Here’show…
In the editor menu bar there is an “insert image”function (looks like a tree).
When you click on this button a pop-up menu will appear allowingyou to choose from an array of open galleries IGLOO has set up foryou (these images are free). If you have already created a photogallery using your community’s own gallery then that willshow here as well.
Select a gallery (I picked the free “Business”gallery) and then an image (graph with pen in colour), once youselect an image the next box will pop-up:
This is where you can choose the size of the image you wantto use. “Original” is the largest size available. Whenyou click on a size the Preview will display how large the imagewill look on your webpage.
The next tab (beside “Preview”) is“Properties”. This tab allows you to edit the alignmentand padding the image will have. Padding is represented by“Vertical Space” and “Horizontal Space”.These two fields are measured in pixels and will be added to bothsides of your image.
For example, I have added 20 pixels of horizontal space, therefore my image will have 20 pixels of space on both the rightand left side of my image.
At the bottom of the box is a preview of what the image willlook like. See how the image is nicely left aligned to the text andhas an adequate amount of white space (padding) on both sides?
Now you can click on “Insert” at the bottom of thepop-up window to return to the edit page. Below is what it shouldlook like (I have added some text to the page):
Lorem ipsum, Dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscingloreum ipsum edipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nibh euismodtincidunt ut laoreet dolore
