The IGLOO Desktop Client is currently only compatible with Microsoft XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 x32 bit operating systems. Currently there is no support for 64 bit Windows.
This Desktop Client is available to a select number of clients today and upgraded/paid communities only. If you'd like more information about getting access, please contact sales@igloosoftware.com
The Desktop Client is an extension of Microsoft Windows Explorer and is used to display community work areas as folders and files on a user's PC desktop. The most common operations performed on a folder/file within an IGLOO community can now be performed from your desktop.
To be able to use the Desktop Client you must be a member of the customer care community and be in our list of participating communities.

These new features have been implimented as part of our new release.
Features:
- Reservation on Wiki Articles: Editing a wiki article will automatically reserve it and will notify any user who's attempting to edit the same article that it's currently being modified.
- Reputation and Points: Added two more criteria for which points can be awarded: posting a "Forum Replies" and getting your reply "Marked as Answer"
- Welcome Message: can now be configured to specify the reply-to address
