Doesn't work on a 64bit Windows Seven OS... Installer doesn't want to go a step ahead :-(
Jesse,
Does that work on DOT's version that includes multiple communities? Does that require a seperate install?
As indicated in our Desktop Client documentation page it is for 32 bit systems only.
No separate install required, just ensure members using the tool are also members of our Customer Support site.
No Mac support? I am using a MacBook Pro.
Sorry Chris,
We do not currently support Apple computers for use with our desktop client. It's always a possibility, but is not a current item on our road map.
I second the request for mac support. Approx 30% of our users are on the Mac platform
Thank you for your input
Jesse, the Desktop client is constantly asking for credentials even when the folder is not accessed. For example, when downloading an email attachment from Outlook to the desktop. Other mapped drives that require credentials don't do that. Any way around this behavior?
Hello Michael,
What browser are you using the client with? Also are you leaving the client logged in or signing out when your not using it? When you download emails from outlook to your desktop do you drag and drop the messages to your desktop or save them via outlook?
Hi Jesse,
On 1, not sure I understand the browser question, the Desktop opens in Windows Explorer.
On 2, I usually don't sign out unless the system kicks me out.
On 3, I use right-click Save As...
Sorry Michael,
I had meant to ask which OS your running the desktop client on, Windows xp, vista, 7? You say your right clicking selecting save as, saving to your desktop. At this time Igloo desktop is prompting you to log in? When this happens, are you seeing the login for email and password, even though your already logged in? is it blank or does it contain your email?
Please feel free to take this conversation to our support Michael. I will post our resolution for any members who may experience the same.
