Symptoms

The Sync fails and produces a log line that includes the following:

Unhandled Exception: System.Xml.XmlException

Diagnosis 

The typical cause of this error is a formatting error in the ILST config file. This could be the result of:

• A missing or extra xml <tag>
• A missing or extra "<" or ">" symbol
• A tag that has been <!--commented--> out

Actions

• Validate the XML in the file using an XML checker
• Compare with a clean new config file
