Symptoms

The Sync fails and produces a log line that includes the following:

Error during Sync occurred: The supplied credential is invalid

Diagnosis 

There are three known causes of this error:

• The <Username> <Password> combination in the <Connection> section of the config is not valid AD credentials
• The <Username> <Password> combination in the <CommunityApi> section of the config is not valid Igloo administrator credentials
• The <Domain> in the <CommunityApi> section is not correct

Actions

• Confirm that all username and password combinations are correct
• Re-enter and encrypt both passwords
• Confirm that the community domain has been correctly entered in the config file
