Today, we're celebrating the launch of Igloo Integrations. We're bringing the best integrated app experience to Igloo by combining it with the power of leading cloud services you already use. Our first wave of integrations include leading cloud solutions from Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, and Dropbox to supercharge productivity and collaboration in your organization, and enable your teams to work their way – from one workplace destination.
With Integrations, you don’t have to leave your Igloo – your apps live directly in your page or space, and you can work in the context of your existing communications or collaborations workflow. Your Igloo is the single point of entry for all of your existing business apps, and integrated with your organization’s identity and security services.
Igloo Integrations are fully mobile-ready with a fast and fluid user experience. With integrated file management, messaging, collaboration, and other business apps, Igloo combines modern intranet capabilities with best of breed cloud applications to become the new corporate hub. With an emphasis on self-service deployment, we've made it simple to get integrations up and running in an Igloo community. Once enabled, it's a straightforward three-step process to get started.
Making sense of files and integrating business applications are two key solutions that you've asked for and today we're happy to deliver them with our out of the box integrations. Let's take a closer look at each of them.
Modern file management
Today we're launching out of the box integrations with Office 365 Sites/SharePoint Online, Dropbox, and Google Drive to deal with the file confusion that exists in many organizations. We're making it easy for you to work with files stored in these popular third-party file sync and share (FSS) solutions, directly inside your Igloo. Drag and drop files right from your file explorer into the third-party service, with automatic versioning and secure, authenticated sharing. These solutions were designed to streamline file management for the cloud era and reduce email volume during project collaboration, delivering the files needed at the right time, in the right place, to the right people.
Best of breed business apps
Your organization uses cloud business apps every day to get things done – from moving projects along, hiring rockstar candidates, and closing big deals. Line of business cloud apps are the lifeblood of getting things done. When we asked "what are the most important line of business apps you use?" CRM came up in almost every response, and today we are thrilled to launch our suite of CRM integrations with Salesforce. The Salesforce integrations are designed to help organizations win more deals and increase revenue by extending critical customer data beyond the sales team so that everyone is on the same page. Your sales teams will be able to accelerate time to revenue by collaborating around deals with real-time CRM data and discussions right in Igloo. Manage sales opportunities, keep up with your Chatter feed, and keep track of personal activities in Salesforce without ever having to leave your Igloo community.
No IT or development required
When creating Igloo Integrations, we wanted to make the experience as seamless as possible for community administrators to get up and running. With deployment, we aimed to fix what made integrations such a poor experience in the past – expensive and lengthy custom development, limited features, and ultimately a solution that wasn't maintained and was abandoned by users. Igloo Integrations avoid this by making use of our new cloud integration framework, consisting of the Integrations Library and expanding in 2H2016 to include the Igloo SDK. All Igloo integrations are stored in the Microsoft Azure cloud and are available through the new Integrations widget in the Igloo control panel.
Coming soon
This first wave we're launching today is only the beginning. At the beginning of Q2, we'll be launching a second phase of integrations designed to extend capabilities deeper into file management, messaging and collaboration, and other business apps.
For customers who have standardized on Office 365, our support will continue to grow with the additions of OneDrive for Business for file management, and Office 365 calendar for collaboration. With OneDrive for Business, Igloo users can manage files directly in their corporate OneDrive account in the context of a project space, with full drag and drop management, file versioning, and sharing capabilities. We are also bringing Office 365 calendars directly into Igloo with three new at-a-glance views to stay on top of tasks, schedule events, and more. We're also bringing two new exciting additions to our Salesforce integration – Salesforce Opportunity Search and Salesforce Leaderboard. Opportunity search gives users a fast way to pinpoint an opportunity for action. The Salesforce Leaderboard is something that we're really eager to launch, with an amazing user experience that may prove to be your sales team's new favorite dashboard. Stay tuned for these additions to Salesforce they are right around the corner.
For Google customers, Google calendar support is almost here! Manage your Google calendar directly from your Igloo, with three new at-a-glance views to track personal events and tasks as well as weeks and months at-a-glance. Add and edit events, schedule recurring meetings, and click to preview all from your Igloo space.
Last but not least, we are also close to launching integrations with three of the fastest growing cloud apps on the market today - Box, Zendesk, and Slack! With Box, we are rounding out our best of breed FSS support with the ability to manage files directly in Box from Igloo. With our Zendesk integration, support teams will be able to use Igloo to elevate customer support, respond to customer emergencies, and keep track of day to day requests. One particular use case we're really excited about is the Igloo digital war room for critical support events - with integrated social feeds, Zendesk ticketing information, and file management. Our Slack integration will bring all of the immediacy and utility of Slack channels into Igloo, so that you can align your Slack conversations with your team, get new team members up to speed quickly, and keep up with your /giphy game day to day.
The team here at Igloo is consistently in awe of the amazing things you have done with the Igloo platform. We always encourage you to "make Igloo your own" by using the power and flexibility of the platform to create a true digital representation of your unique corporate culture.
With integrations, we are even more excited to see how far you can go.
