Last night we released an update to Igloo to improve the scalability, efficiency, and performance of the platform, fix some bugs, and launch some new enhancements.
Here's what we've been working on:
- I Report To - Igloo user profiles will now include a new I Report To feature that includes the user's manager name and email address, making it easier to find out who someone reports to. The label is fully configurable in your community. Here's a quick video of the I Report To feature in action:
- Improved permission performance - We've made several changes to improve the performance related to permissions in Igloo. These changes allow us to scale permissions to more users and accommodate a broader array of use cases for large organizations with more complex permissions hierarchies.
- Access Page performance - For Igloo administrators, this release contains significant performance improvements to the Access page, which will load up to 5X faster than previously.
- Image thumbnail scalability - We've made thumbnail images more efficient across Igloo, which results in faster load times and improved fidelity on mobile devices.
As always, if you're looking for more information about your Igloo, consult the Knowledge Base, ask a question in the Community area, or sign up to attend one of our weekly webinars.
