Igloo August Update - Here's what's fresh and new
We're making some changes next week on August 24 to improve your Igloo experience. There will be no downtime associated with this update.
With August upon us and offices everywhere slowly returning from summer vacation, we're ready to go with a new update to Igloo. For customers with a preview community, you will be able to try out the latest update tomorrow.
So what's new?
- Full Screen Embedded Images - Great news! Clicking on an embedded image in your Igloo community - a microblog post, comment, or task for example - will display the image in full screen mode.
- Enhanced Publishing Experience - We are coming very close to launching our entirely new publishing experience in Igloo toward the end of September. This release includes a number of behind the scenes improvements to the performance of our new editor in Tasks. We will be extending the new editor to comments and to the wider platform next month.
- Platform Performance Improvements - We are making significant improvements to our cloud infrastructure to be able to increase scalability and performance of our computing resources. In this update we are making caching improvements that will translate into quicker responsiveness and load times in your Igloo community.
